Viva Las Vegas

July 19th, 2007  |  Category: Photography, Updates  |  Tags: ,  |  15 Comments

After a month of job searching, soul searching, and location scouting, my wife and I have decided to head to Las Vegas. I’ve accepted a job at the Las Vegas Sun to help lead their multimedia team. The paper is in a unique situation that allows them to focus on more indepth storytelling and reporting. In the next couple months a major website overhaul will go live and from what I’ve seen of the prototypes, it’s incredible. I can’t believe we’re moving to the middle of the desert but it will be exciting to live in a different ecosystem.

  10. Congratulations, Zach. We will all miss you here in the city but I know you’ll keep doing good things out in Vegas. If you are ever at a casino…put 20 dollars on “black 10″ on the roulette wheel for me. Keep in touch.

Thirst in the Mojave

Thirst in the Mojave tries to bring a little more web mentality to video but still utilize the linear narrative strengths that make video such a great storytelling tool.
