Viva Las Vegas
After a month of job searching, soul searching, and location scouting, my wife and I have decided to head to Las Vegas. I’ve accepted a job at the Las Vegas Sun to help lead their multimedia team. The paper is in a unique situation that allows them to focus on more indepth storytelling and reporting. In the next couple months a major website overhaul will go live and from what I’ve seen of the prototypes, it’s incredible. I can’t believe we’re moving to the middle of the desert but it will be exciting to live in a different ecosystem.

and your pictures say it all: the big blue sky and the open road ahead. best of luck, Zach.
Congratulations, Zach! That sounds like a really fun opportunity!

Congratulations, Zach. We will all miss you here in the city but I know you’ll keep doing good things out in Vegas. If you are ever at a casino…put 20 dollars on “black 10″ on the roulette wheel for me. Keep in touch.
You’re right, Zach, it is a different ecosystem here (meteorologically, journalistically…) We’re excited to have you on the team.
Congrats, Zach! I’m really looking forward to you blowing up the west coast with your bomb-ass work.
Zach.
All the best! Vegas will never be the same.
Cheers,
Kainaz
Congrats and good luck (and not just at the casinos). Athens will miss you.
I’ve been looking for ever to find info on this, thanks very much
