Willie Chapman has 10 children in 3 states and he’s 40 years old. Professional boxing matches are still his main source of income and also the only way he can pay child support to see his kids. Because of his age and losing record, Nevada may not license him to fight anymore. Willie also shows signs of dementia, most likely caused from continued brain trauma caused by boxing.

The Burning Man Experience
This year’s festival featured approx. 47,000 people from Las Vegas, the U.S. and the world, who all traveled to an ancient lakebed, known as “the playa” in the Northern Nevada Black Rock desert to build a temporary, all-encompassing community defined more by its spirit, art, and gifting than the normal constraints of daily life.
Electric Playa
There is plenty of partying during the daytime hours of the six-day radical self-expressive event known as Burning Man — held annually in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. But the pulse picks up even more when the sun goes down on the barren playa, as nearly 50,000 burners really start to play.
New Frontier Implosion
The New Frontier was imploded Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. The 65-year-old casino, the second property built on the famous Las Vegas Strip, was the venue where Elvis Presley made his Las Vegas debut in 1956. It also housed entertainers like Siegfried and Roy, and Wayne Newton; was once owned by eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes; and featured one of the longest union strikes in U.S. history.

US 95 South of Boulder
Five miles south of Boulder City, right off US-95, you’ll find a dry lake bed. On Independence Day, the dry lake bed fills with campers, trucks, cars, families and fireworks. Lots of fireworks.
Cement the Wilderness
Tired of being chased by the cops for skating in unauthorized areas, some skateboarders and rollerbladers mounted a youth-led initiative to build a skate park in Athens. After securing funding from the Tony Hawk Foundation among other sources, the Athens Skate Park, an 18,000 square foot park, was built. Today, skating is alive and well in Athens County.
