Last week I had to cut a short teaser that previewed some of the video content we're working on for the new Las Vegas Sun site. The teaser was shown to the Executives at Greenspun Media (our parent company), and some prospective hires. Although I can't show some of the coolest stuff we're working on yet, I can say with confidence that our site will have one hell of a launch.

After a month of job searching, soul searching, and location scouting, my wife and I have decided to head to Las Vegas. I've accepted a job at the Las Vegas Sun to help lead their multimedia team. The paper is in a unique situation that allows them to focus on more indepth storytelling and reporting. In the next couple months a major website overhaul will go live and from what I've seen of the prototypes, it's incredible. I can't believe we're moving to the middle of the desert but it will be exciting to live in a different ecosystem.
