This presidential campaign has been two years in the making and the political landscape has changed a lot over those two years.
Willie Chapman has 10 kids in 3 states and he’s 40 years old. Professional boxing matches are still his main income and also the only way he can pay child support to see his kids. Because of his age and losing record, Nevada may not license him to fight anymore. Willie also shows signs of dementia, most likely caused from continued brain trauma caused by boxing.
I’ve accepted a job at the New York Times and I will be joining Andrew DeVigal and his all-star interactive team.
Over the last couple of months, I’ve fallen in love with a little piece of software called Celtx. Celtx is a free program geared at pre-production.
Five miles south of Boulder City, right off US-95, you’ll find a dry lake bed. On Independence Day, the dry lake bed fills with campers, trucks, cars, families and fireworks. Lots of fireworks.
That’s not water, it’s heat. This was shot at one of the lower points in Death Valley where the temperature reached about 121°.

“Remember Last Night” is a short film I did as an undergrad for class. This was one of the first pieces I ever shot and edited. I think it was done about eight years ago, and DV was fairly new to the market (yeah, it’s that old).
