Zach,
after seeing your portfolio I was most impressed by your excellent sense of color. I’m wondering why you chose to do this in BW. I’ve seen the color of the tobacco and rollers hands and they seem to be a beautiful matched bronze tone.
Working in the Tampa Bay area I’ve seen several stories on cigar makers from Cuba. There were huge factories still there where the Cubans rolled cigars. One thing I thought was most interesting was they had a reader. Someone would sit on a tall platform in the middle of the room and read newspapers, stories etc everyday all day.
I’m not sure I’m doing right so I’ll quit before I get further off in the netherworld.

Thirst in the Mojave tries to bring a little more web mentality to video but still utilize the linear narrative strengths that make video such a great storytelling tool.
