Coming Attractions

December 10th, 2007  |  Category: Featured, Video  |  Tags: , ,  |  1 Comment

Last week I had to cut a short teaser that previewed some of the video content we’re working on for the new Las Vegas Sun site. The teaser was shown to the Executives at Greenspun Media (our parent company), and some prospective hires. Although I can’t show some of the coolest stuff we’re working on yet, I can say with confidence that our site will have one hell of a launch.

The Las Vegas Sun’s new Web site will feature a wide range of multimedia content covering events such as the New Frontier Hotel Casino implosion, the annual Burning Man festival in the northern Nevada desert, Nevada’s upcoming presidential caucus, and an interactive history project that tells how the city exploded from a small railroad town into the entertainment capital of the world.

Thirst in the Mojave

Thirst in the Mojave tries to bring a little more web mentality to video but still utilize the linear narrative strengths that make video such a great storytelling tool.
