Video

A piece that Stanton Paddock and myself shot for Dawn2Dusk last year. The theme was sports in Athens County. Since timelapse is time intensive, having both of us shooting from different angles really helped. It let me edit together a piece that moved from an establishing shot and move into the stadium. It also let us shoot in the crowd as well as the game. I think the piece was successful, but I’m not sure how many people have seen it. That’s why I posted it. Let me know what you think.

Here’s another video from a while ago. A promotional video I did probably about 4 years ago for OKE productions. I created the music using Sony ACID (I didn’t have a mac back then).

Hey! Nice work….I met Stanton in New Orleans last January as he was working on a piece for his masters. He did a photo essay and showed up at CELEBRATION STATION where I was helping with animal rescue. He sent me the completed project (set up like Nat’l Geo), and I failed to save it to disk, but recently found the e-mail I’d saved with link to this site. I would love to have a copy of his project..or some of the pictures. If you get an opportunity to pass this along to him I’d appreciate it. Thanks, Jill

Thirst in the Mojave

Thirst in the Mojave tries to bring a little more web mentality to video but still utilize the linear narrative strengths that make video such a great storytelling tool.
